Yehenara city is an ancient city divided into three parts: shanyanfu City, east city and west city. It was built in the middle of the 16th century. Located in the southeast of Lishu County, Siping City. Yehe is the birthplace of the late Qing Dynasty's empress Nurhachi, empress Narada, and also the birthplace of the late Qing Dynasty's Empress Dowager Cixi. Therefore, it is known as the hometown of two generations of queens. Ye he, the Manchu language "the sun by the river", is one of the important birthplaces of Manchu. In about 1573, Qing jianu and yanjinu, the grandsons of Chu Kongge, the leader of Yehe tribe, who lived here, conquered the surrounding small tribes and built the existing abandoned city on the hills on both sides of the Yehe river. Each city has three walls of wood, earth and stone, surrounded by moats and octagonal buildings. It is a magnificent and rare group of ancient buildings in northern China. The city site of yehedong is well preserved, and there are many architectural foundations and relics in the city, especially the dianjiangtai and fenghuotai. In 1995, Yidi restored the city of yehenara, which is located on the Dongcheng mountain of Zhuanshan Lake in Yehe scenic spot, covering an area of 10000 square meters and a building area of 7000 square meters. Surrounded by water, lakes and mountains, they complement each other. There are archery tower, Qibing barracks, Beile mansion, sacrificial shrine, meeting hall, Princess building, shaman garden, Chenghuang Temple, etc., which are simple and elegant, and represent the architectural style of the Manchu people and the original appearance of the ancient city. In the 1990s, the 28 episode TV series Princess Yeh shot by Changchun Film Studio took this city as the location. In 1981, it was listed as a key cultural relics protection unit in Jilin Province.
